RAILROADEXPOSURE.COM

A site about toxic materials in the railroad workplace.

Locomotive Cab at Galveston Rail Museum

Welcome!

After 903 cases and projects during and after my time with OSHA, I have decided to put together a website about issues involving safety and industrial health/toxicology, including those pertaining to railroad cases.  Here you will find information–some basic, some detailed–in such things as asbestos, silica, diesel exhaust, and hazard communications as well as a few rules and regs pertaining to common industrial exposures.

While I won’t discuss specific cases, this site will include information from the things I have learned over the years involving exposures.  I also plan to include information about some of the tools and equipment that I’ve used in various cases–things that worked well, and things that didn’t work well at all.

Finally, I welcome your ideas for topics that you’d find useful on this website.  If you have any questions about anything you find here, or if you have suggestions to make this site better, please feel free to contact me using the forms on the site.

Enjoy!
